About the Founder

Dr. Mirlina E. Bryant graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2004 and has been practicing dentistry in underserved communities ever since. Prior to graduation, she received the Massachusetts Health Access Student Award and committed to work for 2 years for the Cambridge Health Alliance Physicians Organization (CHAPO) and its dental community clinic sites in Cambridge, Somerville, and Everett. She then joined the For Better Access Company and provided comprehensive and preventative dentistry in the low-income communities of Springfield, Brockton, and Mattapan, in Massachusetts, and in one of their centers in Washington, DC.

In 2014, Dr. Bryant worked for the Oral Health Impact Project (OHIP); a mobile dental school program providing much needed comprehensive and preventative dentistry to the children in Washington DC and Baltimore City Public and Catholic Schools. In addition, she started the No More Cavities nonprofit after meeting parents and guardians of babies and infants with rampant decay. At that point she knew that it was time to start a nonprofit organization that focuses on educating parents at the earliest stages of their child's life.

Dr. Bryant currently works as a supervising dentist for the Dental Hygiene Program at Howard Community College were she continues to educate students and parents about the importance of proper oral hygiene and cavity prevention.
